Hello Nostalrius GMs. I'm applying for a bane review after reading the instructions contained http://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=29973 here.

Character: Conflicts - PvP Server

I have been banned for "abusing" the mining nodes respawn issue of a few days ago. I was mining a node in Felwood north at the entrance of cave needed for Cleansing Felwood quest, around 56,17. I was mining at around 14:15 server time a small thorium vein. I realized I was getting no skill ups and the vein wasn't respawning so I stopped mining. This was way before server announcement; the whole bug exploit lasted no more than 5 mins. After realizing the node was bugged I resumed questing and left the ore alone.

I did not bank, smelt, trade, vendor, auction or otherwise alter the ore obtained by exploiting the bug nor did I delete it from my inventory as I believed the server rollbacks would take care of that and absolutely did not believe I had done something warranting a permanent ban. Furthermore I kept mining small thorium veins in Tanaris at around 15:15 server time, this time the nodes were bug free.

I whispered multiple players of the respawn bug and even wrote it in world chat a couple of times - I do not expect a medal for this, I'm merely trying to demonstrate my good faith and that I was in no way trying to exploit a bug trying to get an unfair edge over other players.
