Why was my account banned?

I was in The Barrens I just finished solo clearing RFK trying to get a BoE drop "Staff of the Shade" for a warlock alt I have. After exiting the dungeon people in Barrens general chat were posting they needed a Wailing Caverns group. I half jokingly offered to run the person through the dungeon for 10g. Then I said I could help someone level or run them through dungeons for gold if they wanted to lvl faster. I then logged off and went to hop on another account and when I tried to log back in to re-run RFK for another attempt at the staff I was greeted w/ a "This Account Has Been Closed" message. I followed the instructions and logged in and under my account it just says "Enjoy your stay on Nostalrius!" So I'm not really sure why my account would be banned.

Offering in game services for gold is not a bannable offense. Have you tried to reset your password just to make sure you are using the correct credentials?

If you login w/ the incorrect password it says "Unable to Connect" I am actually getting a message that says my account has been closed.
