Appealing Banned Account

Good evening,

I just attempted to log into my account and received a banned notification. I log into en.nostalrius.org/ and it states:

"Your account has been banned permanently.
You can ask for a review of your case in the Account issues sub-forum specifying a character name or create a new account to play by our rules."

I would first like an understanding on why this decisions was made and what is needed to appeal that decision. The only two things that cross my mind is that my three people in my house hold play this network or that my ISP came by yesterday and did an entire overhaul to my network. As far as any in game incidents there is none that I can recall. Can you please take a look into this as I would greatly appreciate it.

The account associated with Irrea has been banned for gold trafficking. This means you were found to be buying, selling, or transferring illegally obtained gold.

Did you happen to buy gold? If not, were there any recent transactions that you can think of that might have caused this?

Thank you for the quick response and the opportunity. To be honest this was the last thing I would have thought to be the problem. I have only been on the server for a little over a month and did not even know you could purchase items/gold etc until I began browsing through these forums after I noticed my ban.

As far as trades... I've traded money with my wife and brother who also play. I've received gold from a friend of mine who is stationed at an embassy in Russia. Him and I were in the military together before I got out - he stayed in. He was the one who got me into the game. Other than those few transactions and recently selling saved up items in my bank I do not know of anything else.
