Character name: Gengarmage
Hi
Long story short: this morning, under the influence of greed and very bad judgement, I left my character online with a auto-mouse clicker in Alterac Valley. When I came back, I was logged out and banned.
I will be the first to admit that what I did was both egocentrical and wrong and in clear violation of the TOA. I was lazy and tried to cheat, and for that I am sorry.
Now my question, is this a permanent ban? As I understand the TOA permanent bans are preceded by a final warning, as in this copied line: A last warning is given before a permanent ban.
If it is meant to be a permanent ban without any warning, I beg you to reconsider. My mistake was big and it should have consequences. Ban me for a week, ban me for two, strip me of my gold or my gear or do all those things, but a permanent ban for one single breach of the TOA? I just hit 60 on this fantastic server and was looking so much forward to doing instances with my two IRL friends, my tight work schedule don't allow me to spend another 3 months getting a character to 60. It would be the end of my short lived romance with Vanilla WoW.
I have never been warned or punished before for any wrongdoing on Nostalrius and haven't recieved any notice of a final warning, neither ingame, in my email or on the website.
So to repeat myself, I admit to cheating, I am aware that is was wrong of me and I rightly deserve a punishment for it. But a perma-ban without any warning? I hope you can find a more just way to punish me and set things right.
Again, I apologize and hope to see you in Blackrock Mountain one more time
