[Resolved] Unable to connect / WoW Account Closed

Character: Forest - 60 Warrior, Nostalrius PvP

I am in Stormwind and am getting spammed with "Unable to connect" each time I try to log in. I am able to log in to my other accounts (who are not in Stormwind), what is happening with Stormwind or my character?

Edit: I am now getting the following message on all of my accounts:

I haven't been contacted on any of these accounts about any suspicious activity nor have I been involved in any activity since I have played on the server.

I have attempted to log in numerous times to each of my accounts, could I have been IP banned due to too many log in attempts?

unable to connect is classic wrong password mistake.

You are temp banned for typing in the wrong password too many times just wait and try after the temp ban lifts.

You might have multiple accounts and are using the wrong password for a different account (I've done it, so I know its possible).

Can a GM please confirm if this is the case? How long does the temp ban last?

not sure exactly how long it lasts but when it happened to me I tried to log in a few hours later with the correct password and got right in no problem.

Somehow my login information just didn't work for a couple of hours and I got locked out due to the password technically being incorrect.

If the issue has fixed itself, I think you can change the topic name so should change name to fixed or something along those lines so gm's know issue is resolved. Just to save them the little time having to check out the post :)

Your account has never been banned.

You probably got an automatic IP ban due to several failed login attempts.

If you forgot your password, resett it here
