Account temporarily suspended

Hello, when I tried to log in this evening I got the "temporarily suspended" message. Logging in on nostalrius.org doesn't tell me anything other than "enjoy your stay."

I haven't logged in since early this morning so I'm confident it's not the automatic ban for too many incorrect login attempts.

This is just ridiculous. Please review my suspension again.

Killing someone who is camping from the roof of the Gadgetzan inn while standing on the ground cannot possibly be considered safespotting. The spot I was attacking from was not "safe" by any definition since I aggroed a guard. Is using Feign Death in that situation against the TOU?

Given the number of other threads in this section, the GM team is going to be very busy for a while. I think in all honesty, demanding a re-review would prolong your account downtime well over the 1 day you are being suspended for.

It would probably be in your best interest for this situation to let it be. You'll be back online tomorrow, and I'm sure anyone playing any kind of internet game will not be mortally wounded in waiting 24 hours to play again.

The biggest problem obviously isn't the short ban itself, but the fact that the account now has an infraction noted on it and thus it is subject to longer bans/final warnings/permanent bans in the future.

If that rule didn't exist there would be no real reason to appeal this ban. Since it does, there is. Even after the ban is over. (All this assuming that he wasn't doing shady stuff in GZ ofc)

It would probably be in the best interest of everyone to have GMs not banning people without proof. And reviewing the suspension could have the GM in question removed. But yeah, who gives a damn, people get banned for the most stupid reasons on this server anyway way.

Ban was confirmed before the sanction was doled out. The ban has since expired. Safespotting warnings only apply to that specific offense not anything else. Therefore, the account won't be affected.
