Back after 10 months, character gone

Good evening!

I used to play here on Nostalrius about 10+ months ago (can't remember exactly) and I leveled a Human Warlock called 'Grundan' up to something close to 30 (if I remember correctly), on the PVP realm (you can even find an old snapshot of the character on Realmplayers). Using the same account details as before I found that I now have no character at all, it has been deleted or my account compromised in some way. Has there been a character wipe I don't know about, or something that would result in the deletion of the character? Is there anything that can be done?

Worth a try, but no sorry :/ I have no characters left on any realm. Do you have any record left of the characters from that long ago or do you know of any reason why it would have been deleted?

Account could have been hacked. Or your brother could have deleted the character.

GM's does not delete (or restore deleted) characters or accounts, so it can only be a guess to why they was deleted.

Only level 30? Start afresh and perhaps grind out the first 10 levels across all starters zones, set your fresh charactet up with a nice chunk of rep, heck you can try the quest to exalted and grab a massive saving on a mount too (assuming you don't re-roll the free mount classes)

I don't have a brother and no one except me has (or should have) access to this account. Is there any way for an admin to find out when the last login occured? In that way I can be sure the account was hacked and take steps to change password etc. Even though I find it weird to hack an account just to delete the characters, but that might be the case.

Yeah Gundreda, I know it was only level 30 so it's not a massive time-loss or anything but I found it a bit upsetting to see it deleted nontheless. I'll see if I end up rerolling or not but thank you so much for the offer!

Update!

So I tried to make a new character and call it 'Grundan' just like the last character and it said that the name was already taken. I found this very odd, seeing as this must mean that there still is a character with that name. I then got to thinking that I might have another account that I forgot about, I tried my other normal login and voilá, there old Grundan was. I have no idea why I even made two accounts or why I decided to level a character on the account using the accountname I normally don't use but there might have been some problem at the time that forced me to do this. Anyway, everything is solved, the account is not compromised and the character is still there. Sorry for being stupid, my bad! And thanks again for the help!
