two characters are under the same account

My account was banned today(may be yesterday), I sent 9 gold and some items which worth less than 3 gold from one character to the other. The sender is vforsylvanas and the receiver is whwhatlock, these two characters are under the same account and the gold and items were gotten through days of playing, so I think this action should be legal. Help me please and let me know if I need to provide any other information.
