Account Banned?

Account Banned?

My account was banned after I made a ticket stating my character had been hacked and all my gold had been stolen. I'm just looking for some clarity why I get punished for reporting my gold being stolen and lose a character I invested quite some time into, I would not have made a ticket knowing I was going to be banned...

Because in the TOS; Account Security is your responsibility. Since your Account was hacked, this falls onto you.

Kind of seems a little harsh imo like I'm already having a bad day from getting account hacked, then ban my account gets banned...

A. Account security

The account owner is responsible for the security of the account and that it's sufficiently protected. Note that Nostalrius staff does not recover hacked accounts. You should:

Never share your account information;
Have a unique and complicated password that does not exceed 16 characters;
Connect yourself from a secure computer and network;
Never download unsafe files that might contain viruses/malware.
