To whom it may concern,

I got kicked offline around server time 10:00pm 03/11/2016. I checked my nost account page and found out my account(ID: Laintimme) got permanently banned but no specific reason was given. However, I suspected it happened because of a game glitch and hope you could help fix it ASAP.

I joined a wsg game sometime after 9:00pm with my teammates(Demacian, Mageseven, Bingo). I suddenly had a lag spike and got kicked offline while I was charging at an ally player. I relogged and found out I couldn’t resurrect even I ran to our graveyard. I thought I bugged out and then chose to relog again. However, I got dc again before I could log out. I kept trying logging in and finally I got into game(somehow I got automatically resurrected). I then mounted up and tried to fight again. However, I had a couple of strange things going on. I can’t dismount even I was in enemy tunnel. I can’t attack any ally players even they were standing in front of me. My client kept giving me “target was not in sight” error. About 20 seconds later, I got dc again. After this I tried relog about 4-5 times and hope it could resolve those issues. However relog apparently couldn’t help at all and those problems were still there. About 2 min after we won the wsg game, I got kicked offline for the last time. Then I found out I got banned.

I suspected that I ran into some kind of server glitch and got automatically banned by cheat-detection program. I swear I never broke any TOS and never used any 3rd party software. It has to be an honest mistake and should be getting cleared easily.

I love vanilla very much and thanks to the contributions of the owners and gms of nostalrius, I could have the chance to enjoy the nostalgia. I have been playing with my wife and we both felt the great old times were coming back to us again. We even were talking about bringing our kid to it after he grows up. I sincerely hope whoever handle this case could help me clear this problem ASAP. I couldn’t help getting back in game and playing with my friends. Thank you!

The long story you told has nothing to do with why your account was banned. The account associated with Laintimme on the PVP server was banned for account compromise, which means sharing or other unauthorized access to the account by someone other than the account owner.

This has already been confirmed by staff. The ban is permanent, and will not be lifted.
