Banned for being in orgrimmar as level 1

So I created a level one orc warrior named Mugthug or mukthug or something like that on the world PVP server. I walked to ogrimmar into the throne room because I wanted to see what old ogrimmar looked like and relive nostalgia and get a view of the community before creating a main character.

I then received a message my account was banned. The account name is Lynceus. I literally hadn't typed a single word in trade chat or general chat. I did try but it said "Cannot access that channel" so I have no idea why I was banned.

I'm just curious about the ban. Are level 1 characters not allowed in ogrimmar or something? Seriously I just wanted to see what old Thrall looked like and the old throne room.

Are you using any addons? There are a few addons that use chat channels and might get you banned for spamming as a low level character.
