Banned?

Hello,

I went afk to research farming spots and to fix my questing and atlas addons (they were giving me green tiles, bleh) to start leveling up one of my alts, and I was kicked offline.

I attempted to connect multiple times since then, but was given the 'unable to connect' error.

Now I try to login and it's stating I am banned. I'm going to assume I'm not banned, but have a temporary hold due to too many login attempts.

This is just making sure there's nothing fishy going on. But otherwise, please look at your login / authentication servers, as I have never had this much trouble logging into the game before.

I would like to add,

when I try to login to the website I get the 'bad credentials' error. I still can't login to the server as it is saying 'unable to connect' and no longer gives me the ban error.

This was indeed a correct assumption. There is not ban associated to your account.
Please try to wait another 15 minutes or so and attempt to login again. Please make sure your password is correct when attempting to login.

I found the issue:

There is a phishing site that is targeting Nostalrius that's being spammed on Reddit, with a login page that mimics your own, and after entering your information will redirect here with the thread in question. I have done the following to try and help other players:

-sent an email with the offending URL's in question to Abathor for attention to your GM team.
-reported the host site provider to shut the website down for phishing activity.
-reported the username to the mods on Reddit to delete the user
-reported his threads that were links to phishing sites to be removed.

I still can't get back into my account, which means he or she has changed my password.

Can I at lest request to have my account temporarily banned, as my email is not compromised?

If that is not possible, I will request for a full ban of the account, which if that is the only option left, I will think on if it is the best course of action.

Interesting, it's still in my sentbox. I'll resend it.

The Offending URL the Phisher used was disabled as of 1:28am my time via the site provider emailing me back. I'll include the email of correspondence with the re-submission.

Edit: PM has been resent to Abathur.

beyond this, I'm assuming there are no other options for assistance in this matter?
