Banned for receiving gold i didn't ask for

Hello everyone and Nostalrius staff
So me being here means i got banned on my original account i made this account to log into the forums
If i could log into my old account into forums that makes me ''stupid' i guess.

The account that i got banned on had a character called : Sunderthigh
And it seems that i bought gold using it but that is not true because simply I didn't but i could see why it would get banned for that reason originally i though i am being ''lucky'' by getting a mail of items + gold up to 300g and some items i thought it's weird i immediately told my guild about it and laughed I thought '' Wow if only this was couple of days earlier when i just hit 40 to buy me the mount instead of now i wouldn't have leveled 3 or 2 levels without the mount and that farm''
I told my guild basicly ''Oh someone just send me 70g omg ( yes i lied because i intended to return the gold ) I have the guy name on paper even

So I hope nostalrius would look into this post and re-asses it tbh just take that gold away if you want it wasn't mine and i was planning to return it anyway but i was extremely surprised about this i had no idea it was the reason i got banned i thought it was because the other day i got angry at a guy and called him a bad word for wasting 1 hour of my time but got told it's for gold-trafficking it was a major slap to the face what if someone really bought gold to ban me ? that is a legitimate way to ban people.

Anyway sorry for the long post and me probably not making any sense short story is that someone sent me gold i planned to return it the guy never came online still kept it and plan to return it got banned for it.

You brought this on yourself when you accepted the gold and items in the mail from someone you did not know and did not ask for items from, you should have left it in the mail and contacted a GM immediately.

I am sorry kind sir but how did i bring this to myself? by just taking something that sent to me i gotta feel a bit weird toward your words to be honest i just accepted the gold talked about it in guild chat and thank god i stated it on couple of occasion that i am not planning to spend it but to return it to it's owner but the guy never came online nor contacted me

I got gold that i have no need for and did not use and got banned over it basically I am guy who was suppose to get the raise but instead got fired.

Edit : on That mention i would probably still ended up here if i did return the gold to the owner i guess :/

Remember that we track gold trails from seller to buyer, and ban both. If a gold seller sent you gold and items accidentally (maybe they misspelled the name), what do you think the outcome of an investigation will be?

Players should NEVER accept gold or items for which the source is suspect. Doing so can result in a ban, as it has for you - with no way to show that it wasn't purchased gold.

Therefore, there is no reason to expect an appeal to succeed here. It will just look like you bought gold, even in the case your story were true.
