Randomly banned?

I was in Tanaris trying to Grind my last level before bed and I was just banned.... like out of no where.
Not exactly sure what I did .. I know ive done nothing wrong so im kind of curious as to how I apparently got wrapped up in the 500+ person ban hammer....
I would think that more investigative work would usually be in order and an actual reason for the ban would be given at time of banning.
