Account Banned

I tried to log back into my account and it says I'm banned. I noticed I was missing a character when I could log in so this leads me to believe I was hacked. I've been reading online that a lot of people are getting hacked now. My character that I play is Aldoz a Druid. I would like to be unbanned or at the very least have an explanation to why my account was banned. I was really looking forward to playing again because everyone is talking about Nostalrius right now. Very disappointing.
