Banned for unknown reasons

Character: Cypo, Pvp server

Earlier today, a random dude invited me to a grp and told me that he's reporting me, I said fine, I did nothing wrong. A few moments later I got a 24h mute for no reason (I assume). When I noticed this, I contacted a GM and he told me to change password, because my account has/might been compromised. I did the password recovery thing a few (like 10+) times, but nothing came to my e-mail, so I ignored it and continued playing. A few minutes after this, another totally random guy whispered me that he's reporting me, I asked him why, what did I do, but no response. I played for like 2 more hours, then I went for a little break and when I got back (7-8 pm my time) my account has been closed.

My question is: Why did I get banned and could you resolve this somehow?
