Account banned

Hey all,

My account got banned, I could not log in, tried to reset my password en then I got the message that my account is banned. I have not played for 5 months.
Character: Maroeffa, PVP server.

I returned home after a couple months abroad for work.
Someone told me there was a hack wave, that account got hacked and "they" sold all your items and deleted the characters?

I hope someone can assist me with this.
