Character missing?

Hello Nostalrius! Last year I played nostalrius on Horde on my undead Rogue named "qvistar". But I quit and I've recently come back to the game to find my character missing. I'm pretty sure the account im on is the right one since it's the only one I've created (I think). I thought the character was gone but I tried to make another character named "qvistar" and it said it was taken.

We now have two servers a pvp and pve so make sure you are logging into the right one. The character qvistar is still there.

Yes I know that... But like the character just seems missing... or am i logging into the wrong account?

I did a double check and I cannot find a character named "qvistar" on either server. Is it spelled correctly? Also, what server were you on?
