Greetings,
You were banned for multiboxing. You were warned on March 25, then caught multiboxing again on March 26. A second offence of multiboxing results in a permanent ban.

Regards, GM Team.

char name: blockers
My friend pagedown helped me to lv up on March 25/26. Because he do like watching TV even playing game.
So when I need help I'd call him through Skype then he stop watching TV and help me to kill monsters. After clear he keep watch TV again and using follow function in game. We are in same city but not same room.If our action bothered you and make you misunderstanding we really feel sorry for it. But we do not play multiboxing seriously. Please investigate again and give us a chance. Thx a lot.

That's still multiboxing though...Which you admitted to. I'm 95% sure that the GM's won't unban you since you've just admitted to doing it and they probably had proof anyway, otherwise they wouldn't have banned you.

Best to just save yourself the time, make a new account and follow the rules.

GM's don't just ban people under suspicion, they'll look into before taking any action. But the point still remains that you friend wasn't there. You were using one account to level another, which is multiboxing. You said yourself that your friend was watching TV, implying he wasn't present with you.

/follow and it is not illegal. If the guy is telling the truth then this should not be bannable because he was not multiboxing. He was not in control of the other char and the other char was not even logged in from his address.

That's the problem there. The GMs have no way to prove whether or not this story is true. Having a character on follow when the person "playing" that character is actually away from the keyboard would LOOK like multiboxing to a GM, especially if the AFK player was so far away from their computer that they couldn't access it in order to prove to the GM they were just on follow.

In the future, maybe have your friend AFK in a nearby town and then run to help you when needed. It might take a few extra minutes, but that's better than risking getting banned.

No, if you are 2 people playing at the same house and one of you has to AFK, he has to log out.

Everyone could call his Brother/Sister/Son/Daughter/Father/Mother/... with that excuse and asks him/her to "play" while a GM investigates to "prove" that its not Multiboxing.

Thanks everyone for playing on Nostalrius, it was the best WoW experience in a long time.

This situation sounds completely legit. If it was 2 actual people you should of passed the multibox tests.
If you were banned without being tested, and just for looking exactly like a multiboxer that is another story.

We are not at the same house. We live in different town. Can GM see our IP address?
