I was recently inactive on the PVE server and when I attempted to login on March 18th I found that my account had been banned. I was hoping this was just a login attempt error so I didn't post anything on the forums, but it seems it is not.

The character name is Bigbulge, level 23 on the vanilla PVE server. I have not done anything against the TOS, so I am assuming this account was one that got hit in the recent gold seller storm that everybody is talking about. I hope the sellers were caught as well because I hate seeing people compromise and hack accounts, (especially the ones with a lot of time and effort put into them). Hope this helps!

P.S.- I downloaded my client directly from this website and do not have separate MPQs or clients. I do have addons active in my data folder though.

This account was banned because it was compromised as a result of the recent gold seller hack wave. They had access to your account, so we removed it from their hands.

This account is in a special state because we stopped a hack that was in progress. Try resetting your password using the password reset feature, https://en.nostalrius.org/password. You may also need to adjust your IP country lock settings. If that doesn't work, please let us know in this thread.

I have reset my password and the IP lock is now set to my country. I just attempted a login and everything seems to working okay now. Thank you for the help!
