Hello Nostalrius community and staff,

I received a final D warning for ingame bug abuse what is not proper in my opinion. I opened this thread in a spark of hope to get a final review since Tyrael gave me a review via pm that is not right and I was not able to get any response. The review reads as follows: "After further review, it was determined that you were knowingly and repeatedly exploiting a bug that allowed you to cap a flag without taking damage in a BG. The sanction was applied appropriately. If you're unsure if something may be a bug then please check the bug tracker, create an in-game ticket or PM me directly." What happened is that I tried to steal the flag of Stonehearth Graveyard in Alterac Valley. I did that for approximately 10 times and died every single time. I know that the flags have los and I have tried to use it to get lesser damage from ranged dps but I always received damage from meele and aoe. It is not true that i have known something about a no-damage bug and I was not able to find anything about this thing on the bugtracker. And again: I died at every try to steal the flag so it can't be that i exploited a no-damage bug. It would be nice if i could get a final review on this in my opinion unjustly sanction and be able to play my character again without being scared of a permaban for small problems. Community response would also be nice, maybe I am the one who dont see the things right.

You abused a bug, knowing it was a bug (you searched for it on the bugtracker) and repeated this many times in an attempt of getting an unfair advantage over other players.

You were aware that what you did was a bug abuse. You already explained in your post that you knew about LoS spot at the flag.
This for us means that you abused a bug which you know is forbidden.
The final warning is a minimal punishment for this kind of behavior.

Please accept it and correct your behavior ingame and you will be fine.

thanks for your response.
@ Dreez: I was not able to find anything out about this bug on the bugtracker as you can read in my text. Getting a advantage with buguse or cheating is indeed unfair, but I don't see the point where I could have used a bug.
@ tigru: The difference between yours and Tyraels response is exactly the reason why I wish a final review. Tyrael said:"a bug that allowed you to cap a flag without taking damage" and this can not be when I die every single time.
You said:"about LoS spot at the flag" but this means that EVERY player who ever capped a flag used a bug because there is always a spot where a range-dps can't shot at you. I can just say again that I have not known
anything about this "bug" and I was NOT able to find anything about this on the bugtracker. Please give me a link to the description of this bug so I can check it by myself. Since I don't know how I could correct my behavior or what i should have done wrong there is simple result of "Last seen 35 days...".

let me know if im wrong but its not possible to cap a flag without beeing LoS to the opposite direction afaik. maybe i have to slowfall on top of a flag from now on if this is seriously a bug

There is / was a bugged spot that allowed you to avoid EVERY kind of AoE and made you non attackable unless your enemy was standing at the same spot.

Very unfair advantage and clearly a bug
