Can't login ingame but site works

Hi

Last night I changed my password using the ingame command .account password

When I try to login this morning I get the message unable to connect when I give it either of my passwords. However I know the server is online because my friend can login just fine so I'm guessing that's just a way for the server to tell me my password is wrong.

The strange thing is that I can log in to the website (not the forum) with my new password and last login time is correct and there is no information that my account would be banned in any way.

Same with me, except the site does not work either. They will not approve my support posts either, not sure why,

If you cannot log in to the site that is not the same problem.
You have probably forgot your password.

I have not done that however since I am able to log in to the website, just not the client.
There is also no indication that my account has been compromised since last login time and IP address belong to me.

My account is not banned and yet I can't login to the client.

Can you do anything to help me so I can get in and play? It's pretty shitty to have to wait 10 days because of a problem caused by you.

If you can't help with that at least take a look at the code handling the passwords, at the very least you either have some problem with the way you hash passwords compared to the wow client, or you're for some reason storing the passwords in two places and are hashing them each individually and that has lead to a difference in them that just happened to make one of them match my password and the other one not.

I got the same problem since yesterday and I can't log into the website or in game.
Also I tried to reset my password but I am not getting anything back neither an email or a forum message.
I messeged a GM and an admin but still no response or help!
