Unban Appeal

Good morning Nostalrius. This morning, I decided to logon to Nostalrius and came to the surprising message that my account has been closed.. I went onto the Nostalrius main page to see what the issue was with my account, and saw that my account was "Botted". I'm quite utterly confused. I've never used any macro software or other programs that would ever interfere with World of Warcraft. I do have a fair amount of addons though, I don't know if that would cause it. The only other possible cause I could think of is that my neighbor, whom which stated he would level me when I'm not using the account, could of used a macro software. I called him this morning after seeing the message on Nostalrius, but he denied any Botters or Macro. I have changed my in-game password, and he no longer has access to my account. I've probably spent well over ten or twenty hours in game, and would hate to lose it. You can ask anyone in my guild, I'm a faithful and loyal player. If any of the Admins have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

They are likely just going to refer you to the "account sharing" part of the terms of use.

I'm pretty upset.. I had a lot of playtime on my character.

Edit: I have reviewed all the rules for Nostalrius. I wasn't aware of the Account Sharing rule... I've played a lot of Retail WoW, this is my first time going to a private server since I heard good things about it. I just remember I would share my account with my neighbor a few years ago, and never experienced any issues. I'm extremely sorry about this, and I can assure you my account will be exclusively for myself. If the administrator decides to keep the ban, that's okay, as for I have broken one of the listed rules for Nostalrius. Yet, I would really appreciate a warning for this offense; As for I can assure you I will NOT be a problematic player whatsoever.

Account sharing isn't allowed, are you sure you want to go with that story? I'm 99,99% certain that you're guilty of botting and/or account sharing, both of which mean perma ban.

I'm not making up a story, I'm trying to be as clear as possible. I edited the post above yours, in response to reading the rules thoroughly. I wasn't aware of the account sharing policy. My apologies.

Edit: If an administrator would like my friends account name/in-game name, I'm willing to provide it to show that I'm not lying..

Doesn't matter if you're telling the truth or not, 3 things apply here:

1. Account sharing admittedly happened.

2. Your account was used to bot, doesn't matter if it's you or someone else that did it.

3. Your account was compromised due to being shared.

All three result in a perma-ban.
