Banned while in game

I was playing playing Nostalrius, and then I got disconnected. Keep in mind that I was on two accounts. I also did not revieve any messages from Game Masters. After the d/c on both accounts i figured it was a server crash so it would take about 10 minutes so I left it alone. When I tried to log in I was banned on BOTH Bankaccount12 and Bankaccount13 <-- account names. I logged on the nostalrius website and there was no message???? In-game I was buying things in neutral ah for 1c - 2g, if you know what I mean lol. I got many whispers from players " fucking bot " and things like that. BUT I replied to them all with unique messages as soon as they messaged me and screened shot it. About 2 hours later, i got booted. After not finding any 3rd party softwares, they probably just banned me because of player complaints. I believe that's the case because I have NO ban message on my account.

If there is no ban reason given on the website, I dont see how you're assuming that you're banned for botting? Since you got dc'ed while ingame, I would think it may just be a login server issue.

I got over 12 whispers in under 2 minutes asking if I was a bot, accusing me, threats to report, and people typing "test" . 2 hours later I get booted . What else would you assume if you have no message lol


Edit : my account says it's closed when I try to log in via client. I don't think it's a server issue, thanks for the reply though

It still sounds very odd, wouldn't it be better to say "I answered every whisper personally" or not mention it like a normal person wouldn't? You trying to cover all bases seems weird too, seems like you were bracing for a ban. Got experience of bans?

Well...yeah I guess that would be my first assumption too. Just weird that the website isn't giving you a ban reason.

A GM once told me " it would be his word over yours " when I made a ticket.( about something else of course ) So I guess you could say I was bracing for a mistake ban. Would you enjoy a ban because idiots get mad and falsely report you for something you didn't do? Then you get a ban with no message on the website because gm's could not find anything wrong and were just making the community happy? < --- assuming that btw, that's what I think happened

It's probably because you were sitting there for hours and hours doing the same thing. With or without third party programs it still has bot-like behavior behind it and GM's can ban for whatever reason they want. My suggestion would to only use the neutral AH for a short period of time and then actually go play a character instead of spamming the search button for 4 hours.

Isn't that a little unfair to ban people for whatever reason?
