Banned for mining

I don't get it you started banned people for a thing that every single rogue is doing it and you just ban us around without a single warning JUST POOF GONE, RIPPAHRIP 2x.

Even if you guy's think this should be against the rules, why would you instantly permaban every rogue that ever did it? How could anyone have possibly known you guys didn't like us doing this. The silithus mines have been in this state since the server came out, there is no way for anyone to know whether or not it was correct or not.

Greetings. My account was banned for mining. I've used my rogue to mine for quite some time now. The exact reason for my ban is - "Silithus: Ooze Covered Rich Thorium Vein respawn time exploit". This method of mining existed and was popular in actual vanilla. This is not an exploit. Is this ban permanent? Are you going to ban anyone who mines in Silithus? This is not Blizz like.

It is an exploit you got baned for what i got banned but in my case was chest spawn in dire maul aka dusty tome , and ofc you gota get what i got which is perma ban. So feel free to lvl new char and enjoy the game like me . also if you guys will get ban removed then i espect my acc to be unbanned also.

I am inclined to agree with the guilty parties on this one. How are they to know if it's intended or a bug in the code? It's like the DMF vendor glitch. Many people didn't know that the herbs weren't supposed to refresh as often as they were. Maybe a few day ban is MAYBE reasonable, but a permaban just isn't right here.

Supporting everyhing you said, I Am completelly sure that they knew about those mines since the first bans for gold selling begined. And i mean in everyother private server that ive been in, there was the same mines in the same spots, how do we even know its forbidden when everyone is doing Hell, even Monkeynews is doing is and not only rogues is doing it. There is a hunters, mages even paladins. was farming it i just dont get those bans a permanent (alot of r14 should be banned too.)

If this is indeed a bug, I and many others had absolutely zero idea it was a bug. On top of this, people have been mining in this way since March.

Banning people with no warning for this is absurdly unfair.

Interesting, the stories of banwaves without warnings recently as well as stories I'm being told in game (which are getting more and more believable) actually gets me more and more scared to do ANY professions or even step a foot out of an Inn/a City.

If this should not be a "foreseeable spawn pattern", why haven't your rewritten the (what I think is) 3 lines of coding real quick to make the 29 spawn spots (yes, I've read many sources on that Mining Node) more random?
Silithus isn't the biggest Zone, and it's easy to travel around the spawn spots given the source sites and actually mine it quicker.

This for me is just like robbing a shop and putting the shopkeeper in jail just because he was unfriendly to the thief or smth.

Banning us because you got banned is not the correct answer. Banning people for "exploiting" a broken script/code/whatever it may be is not acceptable. Fix the issue, give a warning, notification, or suspension then move on. This is nonsense. These nodes have been active since release over six months ago and out of the blue a ban wave is occurring?

If a thing is bugged a post should be made, an in game system message should be made in game. Means should be taken to make the player-base aware that it isn't allowed. A 45 minute respawn is not enough to be a perma ban for a first offense. You should then warn players that offend after having knowledge of this not working correctly. Banning first and then telling people is a horrid practice and incredibly unprofessional. I expect better from The Nostalrius management team, doing things like this will stain your PR.
