Im in your boat. I have never tried to access my account twice at the same time. I'm pretty sure it doesn't just force the first host off though. I could be wrong though as I've never tried it myself.

If you log into your accout from another client (could be same computer, so easy to test yourself), then the previous client is automatically disconnected.
