I sincerely appeal to the Nostalrius Staff to take a look at our cases again! The Gold-Trafficking System was wrong!

Thanks!

I trade gold all the time.. high, and low ammounts.. No bannerino here!
This guy, who bought your sword, most likely had bought gold.. If you know deep in your heart, that you are clean as a whistle, you have nothing to worry about...

Hammersplat wrote:High price for a sword, but looks like only 12 on the server. It's the star wars one. maybe the guy who bought it bough gold? idk.... I don't see how this can be gold trafficking if it dropped in UBRS and others have sold for the same price. (have they?)

and how come only half of the alleged gold buyers got banned, why not all?

I hope someone looks at this properly, kinda interesting to see what happened.

Thats the big question - why only the half of attended players got a ban.

It's a big amount for a "style"-sword. Its not really better than Vis'Kag so nobody in our guild had use for it. As you can see on the screenshot which i uploaded, Bryndi set 2500 Bid / 5000 Buyout price - the buyer won it with an 3038g high bid so the transaction was legit.

I am eager to know the outcome of this. It sounds like an elaborate way to launder gold. Which i think is ridiculous, its a free server and you see people getting banned left and right for this so why do it? I would venture to say, why would you risk level 60 players who are geared for UBRS to do so? Devils advocate here maybe it was a false positive on the system? Anyways inb4lock and look forward to the outcome.

We are geared for BWL that is the tragedy. We would never risk our accounts for something like this.
The guild is been torn apart for wrong accusations. I mean i would not risk my Tank which i love on a
server i worship like a god for a stupid thing like that. Neither do my friends!

This is why i still have hope for the GMs to solve this!

Hence my latter post it would be stupid to risk that. That is why i am thinking it could be a false positive in their system. Just have a little faith they will do the right thing.

you're going to sell an item for 3000 gold and expect nothing to happen after? why not at least warn teh GMs before something like this happens?

Honestly, if it's just a totally legit sale on the AH, why should you have to talk to a GM first? The only time I would even consider talking to a gm about gold is if someone was going to gift, or loan me some.

yeah I know what you're saying, it shouldn't matter because it's on AH and it's legit sale. 3,000g is a lot of gold though. sales like that don't happen every day. :o
