Got banned for using a macro..

GMs shoot first, ask questions later. I was banned for the same thing. Luckily I had nothing on that account so I didn't appeal it. To me it just looks like people are using GMs to ban people so they can transfer.

What really sucks is that a GM thinks i'm botting.. i tried to give him the macro to use him/her self according to them it doesn't work what amazes me is that they're unaware of the macro so they automatically think its a bot. And what sucks even more is having to wait all this time not knowing the fate of your account even though I submitted solid evidence that there was no third party software's included and all done by me physically via Video.. And i'm still waiting for their answer ;(

I dont think they would just auto ban you - Maybe you they was watching or attempting to speak to you while you were afk and sniping. Showing a video of you using it proves nothing - Anyone can make a video.

What addon is it and I will give you my honest opinion.

Hey Bleachy i was never afk all the work is done physically by me .. Also have made a video proof for the GM that banned me.. which i won't share the video only to the Gm and after its done i will probably delete. Once they review the video and see that it's actually legitimate i'm confident that i will get unbanned because i know i did nothing wrong. And if i don't.. well nothing else to say =)

I won't share neither the video or the macro to anyone but the GM's to review my case other than that I don't need to prove anything to anyone else but the GM's. Most people think this is botting is because they don't understand how it works they just think that its a bot and report you for it.. This macro is popular and not something deemed illegal by blizzard and is perfectly fine to use. People are just thinking that "The second i posted my item it got stolen" Well.. that's what happens when you spam the button for hours even if im in Booty Bay and you're in tanaris and i happen to be spamming the button then they auto think im botting D;

Every time a GM gives a little more detail, they have messaged a person multiple times, and get no response despite the actions still taking place.

I'm not calling you a bot, but the amount of ban appeals where people have somehow "missed" 3 or even 4 warnings is quite unbelievable.

Hey mate it's fine even if you call me a bot or not because truthfully you don't know me and you don't know if I really botted but whats weird is i was never AFK.. And random DC no gm chat at that time it took about 4-5 minutes for me to relog back in.. i suppose GM thought i was bot because took that much time to relog ? who knows maybe but I didn't get any message before i got disconnected.. Also after I got disconnected i tried logging back in but every time i entered my information it just showed that I am disconnected at that time i went to google to test if my internet was off or something..

Yeah I know I understand but it's frustrating to wait so long . Also I got a video as proof requested from a GM which he didn't reply to whatsoever ;/.. So i don"t know why he asked me to do it

Yeah, it sucks, but that's the reality. Some perspective: I don't believe any of the appeals from the Christmas Eve resource debacle have been handled yet.
