Stop spreading false information.

Accounts does not get banned for being hacked unless illegal actions are performed on them (by a hacker or the owner, doesnt matter), or the account owner cannot regain control over the account (i.e. the owner does not change password or gain control over a hacked email). In that case the GM's close the account to avoid further damage.

you can't tell whether an account has been hacked or sold so the logical consequence is a ban

It seems like a gray area with the recent issues with all these accounts being compromised. Hopefully a GM can shed some light on the issue.
