My account got hacked and got banned - lvl 60 naked, 0 gold.

This has happened alot recently.. I too lost all my gold and most of my gear on my main character. On top of that my accounts are now banned. Probs 100+ days of played

The hacks had two sources:

1) A leaked DB from another private server, exposing account names and passwords where they were the same for players with accounts on both. We can only advise players to change their password on this one.

2) A brute force attack with automation where accounts with easily guessed passwords were compromised. We have taken steps to make this harder to do successfully.

Tuleapp has not been found to be the source of any hack so far, so please stop spreading disinformation.

For the OP: We do not currently have any plans to restore gear on hacked accounts. We will advise if that changes.

Others: if your account was banned as a result of the hack wave, please make an independent appeal in this forum.

My guild and me geared up my rogue a bit again. Today after a ZG run, I wanted to login and now it says im banned ?
What is going on. Can you please tell me what happenend ? Is this a comprimision of my account for review my case or did I something wrong ?
First I get hacked and lose all my gold and equipment and now I'm getting banned right after I want to gear up again ? Thats so fucked up
