I totally agree. It's a shame that the GMs also don't believe that players on their own game aren't generous also. I haven't had a bad word to say about this game but after this incident knowing your account could be taken away from you at any time due to someone being kind is ridiculous!

Fair cop, I should have mentioned this was in Cataclysm, you're right on live these days 1 million gold is small fry.

I didn't even bother explaining/responding to my ban after I checked the forums. They had already closed the door on my account without question. So many people being banned over petty shit it's just stupid. Go go fake GM's keeping it "blizzlike"

Yeah they are ridiculous with not answering a 2 days old thread within the 65+ pages of unban appeals regarding the recent hacker wave.

Ourk, it sounds like from that first thread that the money you gave to him for his mount had nothing to do with the ban. I'd imagine if it did have anything to do with the ban, you'd have got caught up in it as well (since you were the one giving him the gold), which it doesn't sound like you did. It's very good of you to try and help though (and very generous with the gold!).
