THEzundriel wrote:I just saw an forumuser called "Kharaltis" claimed yesterday "his" account got hacked. He was one of the guys in teamspeak back then!!!! Investigate THIS! Please!!!!!!

And i know his real character "Kharaltis" got banned weeks ago, for multiboxing and stuff like that! If my suspicion is right he is the guy who claims "his" account got stolen. And the GMs trust a guy who still got banned? It more looks to me that he is mad about his banning and he used the oppurnity to steal the account from nixxey!

I just discovered this as i read some threads to find some similar cases and i know the name!

Please GMs! Investigate this, i m pretty sure this user is the solution to the problem!

They shouldn't investigate anything. You/your friend fucked up. You deserve the ban. Whether it be account trading or account compromised. We don't care, you won't get any remorse here. Feel free to page a GM in game, they will tell you the exact same thing that all of us are saying. Either start a new character, or quit.

"Didn't answer." Either you're lying, or your issue is too dumb to be replied to.

Lol your edit... For one, the devs can see everything. IP that you play on, IP your account was made on, everything. That wouldn't happen. But nice try.

Yeah if they can see that they must see the possibilty he got hacked, tough its his fault.

But as i said its more a case of trust and not the fault he made. So why would they put him in this trialroom yesterday?

and btw. i didnt fucked up anything? i m just his reallife friend and i m trying to get an answer for him.

Well, that statement is based on the point of view and nature of it. Technically, vanilla is dead. True vanilla has come and gone, and we will never see it again. This is only an imitation, a very good one. Also, compared to the subscriber base of retail, even this vanilla can be seen as dead. 15k to a few million. However, on the micro level, we think vanilla is alive and well.
Please stop comparing apples and oranges. Your statement is not based on fact, mine was. The account got banned because exactly what the GMs thought happened, did in fact take place.

It's possible that they were already knew that his account had been hacked, and they were going to give him the opportunity for leniency if he told them what happened. However, you posted the conversation that your friend had with the GM in game and he didn't admit that his account was stolen. It didn't look like it was a problem with language, as you said that he responded that he was the only one who had ever played the account. It seems like your friend knew that having a comprimised account would get hI'm banned, and he was hoping to get one over on the GM. Didn't work. You aren't getting that paladin back.
If you are that desperate for a raid paladin, get some guildies together and powerlevel him back up to 60 and start working on that gear.

To be fair the people here are ginving you the correct advice - YOU are choosing not to listen to it and then even make snide remarks to them.

If someones account is compromised and the account banned via the hacker - Your friend is responsible - It states this in the terms of use - You friend accidently gave up his details - But in essence he was the one that caused his account to be hacked.

The account is lost - I am sorry this is not the outcome you wanted and I do understand how gutting it can be to lose a level 60 that has been levelled and the fun behind it. As stated above: I would put your efforts into powerlevelling another pally as a guild.
