They are not giving you any specific info about when exactly you broke the rules.
I don't think a level 22 character with 2g in the bags is breaking any rules in the game.
You can't call a person with 2g in the bags a gold trafficker.

P.S.: Go to ToU page and press CTRL+F and then type "gold" and read about it. They never mentioned anything about gold trafficking. They are not describing the term "gold trafficking".

Yes, yes and yes. Do you think they wouldnt lie to get their account back? Do you really think they only have 2g? You guys forget we are playing on someones elses server, with someone elses rules. They know how to figure out who is buying gold and who isn't, they dont just guess and statt pulling names. Also, read the ToU again. Section V states no in game goods can be traded for anything outside the game, aka money. People like you make me LOL. Here, making it easy for you:

V. Trading Virtual Goods/Services
Nostalrius Begins does not condone the trade of virtual goods or services appearing or originating from the Game, or any other attributes associated with an account or any component thereof for real money, or exchange those items, currencies or services for value outside of the Game. Nostalrius staff reserves the right to close any account involved in such transaction.

Yes. 99% are guilty. There is a huge issue with gold sellers because there is a huge issue with gold buyers. If no one bought gold there would be very little activity from the sellers.

Yes.

It's not really a matter of timing. When you bought gold doesn't matter. It's the fact that you bought gold at all that caused the ban.

Why would you buy gold if not to spend it? The amount of gold currently on your character is meaningless as a defense.

It means you bought and or sold gold. Pretty simple. If your defense hangs on semantics, you don't have much of a defense.

I don't know about them. But I know I would never pay to get gold in free private server, I'm living in a poor country and we barely pay taxes... GMs know this, they have the info about us, they have our IP, they have the info about any ingame gold transactions and they know that I had 2g on lvl 22 and not more when I get banned. But they are all being quiet and not giving info, now this is a fact that you can't deny.

 Despite all this gold trafficking hoax I can tell you what can be the reason for my ban. I was talking in the barrens chat about ISIS, Israel, USA and geopolitics in general. And you know the barrens chat... suddenly it became a troll game, but some people were aware to this topic. If this is the reason to get banned I want to know.
I don't care about lvl 22 account, I have 8 years of experience on retail so I don't really care about low level account in a private server (which explains why I would never pay a single cent for a pirate video game).
However, if this is true, then someone from the staff team is lying or just don't want to "waste" any time for investigating.
Link to my case: viewtopic.php?f=65&t=28561

P.S. I'm not saying there aren't any gold sellers and people who break the rules, but there are people who speak the truth and this can be proved if only GM shows the log. I challenge the GMs to show us the logs and tell me when have I bought / sold gold. I won't leave this like that! This is simply not fair and it's time a staff member to reply and explain what is really happening!

It's their server and they have the right to ban you for any reason or no reason at all, as stated in the terms of use that you agreed to when making your account. That being said, why would they need to make up a reason to ban you that wasn't the actual reason you were banned? They could just tell you that you were banned for offensive chat. They have every right to ban for that also.
The only thing that showing logs would accomplish is showing all the gold buyers and sellers how to avoid getting detected in the first place.
You may be from a poor country, but you said you played retail for 8 years. That a lot of money in sub fees. Money you don't have to spend here. You could easily use that money to buy gold instead. Just sayin.

they could ban you for whatever reason they like, but I haven't seem them doing so yet.

Maybe your case was a false positive, just wait for a review by the admins, Grinam

I completely agree with what you just said. Firstly-the penalty for offensive chat is not permanent ban. Second- I'm being flagged as a gold trafficker with 20 hours playtime and a few gold in the bags which I got from a lvl60 friend.

P.S. We don't have to craptalk here and argue for anything. There are logs and logs are my evidence. Show us the logs for my case and I will shut my mouth forever.

My guilds main tank : Razka, our healer Druidg and our bank Randombank (all char names) all suffered the incorrect banhammer, and since alot of regulars diden't show up for the raid i bet the number is higher

Please attend to this problem instedt of giving us a copy paste answer.

They dont have to show you logs or proof at all, and never will. How stupid would a staff have to be to show everyone their detection methods and system for gold trafficking/cheating. If they show proof or give people informatiom that allows them to find loop holes or try and not get detected

I think it's the right of the account owner to have some kind of knowledge to why he has been banned, not just the same copy/paste message as everyone gets. That information doesn't have to give away any of their high classified 007 methods. Imagine you'd get banned for a false positive, how would you defend yourself if no one told you what the problem was?
