"Geared as shit"? He literally has the same exact gear as my alt, plus a belt/ring from MC and a helm from ony

This guy is literally the worst kind of person in the world. Salty as fuck because he got banned for LITERALLY robbing innocent people, so he gets someone banned for handing out mage water and then rubs it in his face on the forums. What a fucking scumbag piece of shit.

Indeed, it's almost comical. How is this guy not banned from the forums yet.

A ban for using this legitimate addOn would be ridiculous but then seeing tigru's response maybe he was using an anti afk bot in combination with it ...

You guys are so retarded. They can see ANY 3rd Party software being ran. Its a program called WARDEN, sometimes bots slip through it, but GM's can see it. it has always been this way, even in retail ( except for Warden, thats new ). They have always been able to see 3rd Party software. There was even a case inretail where someoene tried to sue blizzard because they looked on his computer for 3rd party softwares being ran. GM's DO happen to ban people on hunches, I can give you some examples even. This one however was not a hunch. They were able to see the bot, and banned him for it. They did not say it was an addon. They said it was a third party software. Even if you " act " like a bot. They will not ban you because you DON'T have any 3rd Party software running. One example of a hunch would be... " This guy used a script to buy the lowest item number on the AH, also HE MAY HAVE gotten gold to this account by exploiting. " <-- that was an assumption on me, and i am trying to prove them wrong by giving them information needed right now :). I used the Addon AUX to allow shift clicking, and they ASSUMED i was using a script, they also ASSUMED, i got gold from exploiting from another account. WHich i didnt. It was from a snipe, and i sold an item. Guess what? Im banned, and thats the reason why. Two Assumptions = Ban. As you can see, he clearly used the word " may have ". But GM's trust eachothers decision, and no one fights for the players.. No one would stand up and say " hey man, you're wrong about this case. "

This is pretty crazy.
AcceptTrade is not protected in the 1.12 client, if it were the addon would simply not work.
It was made protected with the TBC launch, you can read it on the TradeDispenser update notes when they updated for 2.0:

Version 0.97
------------
* Burning-Crusade compatible.
- no auto-Accepting (does not work any longer)

I use it myself to give out healthstones. Is this seriously bannable now?

Don't know if you noticed, but Nostalrius has a habbit of changing RETAIL Vanilla rules, and whats allowed and whats not allowed. They probably made it protected to prevent botting from the get go.

No, the guy was AFK handing out food for tips for hours.

If you handed out healthstones while AFK in a city for hours on end, yes you'd probably be banned too.

Common sense is not strong in this thread.

Glenzig wrote:Why wait? Youre obviously very dissatisfied with Nost. You derail threads constantly, bringing up a dead issue. You seem to feel that the staff has some hidden agenda wherein banning players for no reason furthers their goal of wow emu domination. Every time someone gets banned that you feel was unwarranted you try to run some PR campaign claiming that the sky is falling on Nost and it's player base. If you are so dissatisfied, why wait? You can leave anytime you want. You won't even get banned for it.

Sorry, what? Can't understand you with that giant GM dick in your mouth.
