Your biggest mistake was trying to hide your character from other players. As if we can't see you on the battle map. Everyone knows you always hide in plain sight if you have to AFK quickly in AV.... /follow someone, etc etc... you never just run to some secluded corner of the map that completely gives your intentions away. That's definitely why you got reported.

Why is anyone believing this story for a second?

Ask yourself what's more likely: Having a family member jump your character for you for 20 minutes to avoid afk or using an auto mouse clicker or keyboard macro to avoid afk. Especially if he was jumping at exact intervals and hiding in a specific location, it's pretty obvious to me that the most likely scenario is that he was using a 3rd party program to stay in an AV he shouldn't have stayed in.
