Ban Appeal

Hi,
my account has been banned and after some digging around the subject i suspect it is permanent.

I got the message: "You are banned until August 30th 2015 23:54:13 PM for the following reason: "ZzuksFramework".".

I do understand now it is a severe infraction and i just want to input my side of the story. I've used ZzuksFramework cause of autoloot as you may check by logs i think. In my sincere opinion i believe it isn't an abuse over other people or the game itself and some addons do it already, its just a commodity.
This been said, im just trying to appeal to your good judgement and to take this in consideration that i will not use this modification again.

Best regards

So you believe you should be unbanned because you used a modding application to do something you can do with an in-game addon? Or even shift-clicking? Good luck with that.

Edit: I'm just talking in general. They could've detected you using it for other purposes.

^ This guy just opened a cheat program and directed it to the WoW.exe of Nostalrius, and was banned. Why should you get special treatment?

i didnt ask for special treatment, just asked to check my logs so they could see that i only used it to auto-loot and that i really believe isnt anything really that harsh. Sorry if appealing in this case seems stupid but i really dont feel like i did something that was bad to other players on unfair in any way.
I do realise that the rules must apply to everyone but also believe in good judgment and what i did doesn't got me any advantage over any player or harm in any way the gameplay.

The guy in that thread didn't gain any advantage either, yet he still got banned and denied when they reviewed.

I think the difference here is that, if there are logs that prove he used the addon for only auto-looting, he may have a chance.

Voltog wrote:But the truth of the matter is that you used a hack on the Nostalrius server and you got caught by the anti cheat system and got banned for it. If it was intentional or not only you can know, but we cannot.

From this quote, it seems to me, that a big problem for the other user was that there was no way of proving his intention. It was his word vs the anti-cheat system, of course the dev team is going to believe the anti-cheat system.

If tugapoint or the dev team can find logs proving that he only used this program/whatever it is for auto looting I would think there is a small chance to appeal the ban.

If I had to guess though, I would assume the dev team will take the position that tugapoint used a banned program/cheat and was caught and now must pay the penalty, just as any other user would be expected to.
