Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello, I'm unable to login to the account tied to the character, "Vlactum".

I changed my password via in-game command, relogged, and to my surprise was unable to log in with the new password.

Is there anything I can do to get back to playing other than using the password reset which requires 10 days of waiting? Thanks.


P.S. Sorry for the second forum post, in the original I forgot to mention my character name.

You didn't by any chance add dollar signs to your new password using the in-game password change command? The instructions for changing your password are poorly written and more than a few people have been typing a dollar sign because it says, ".account password $oldpassword $newpassword $newpassword"

I almost made that mistake but I made sure I didn't when I set the password

Still cannot login with my password, I know I wasn't hacked, the password I changed it to is not working.

I am guessing you may have accidentally typed the password you intended to change it to incorrectly. You may want to try misspelling the password you intended it to be and see if that works. Otherwise, after 10 days of inactivity you can always use the password retrieval option.
