What is this?

Anyways I would demand and explanation for this, i give guildies free stuff from time to time, and reagents for enchants. Recently have bought wands for 1000g, and also buy items to save for inflation. (Look on my bank characters what the gold is used for)

I dont sell my gold in any way, I just try to get as rich as possible in the game

Also gold and items are given to my PUG's tank's from time to time, for pots, fire resistance gear and other stuff. I dont know what is happening here, I have saved all my gold I used since server start or bought gear to myself, or bought items to save for inflation.

My bank chars is Herbinz (full of herbs), Kwazorn have near 200 arcanite bars and alot of random items on Bagginz. Pugbank have materials used for my PUG. Total worth on these characters is around 10.000 gold, thats where my gold is going, to save materials for inflation.

Dusith is a very valued player and person in our guild and on horde site. He hosts the "Kwazorn pug" every friday and has been doing that for the past months. He also has shittons of gold from his dealings on the auction house and from his Pug raids. What does gold trafficking even mean? I've read through your terms of usage and I can't find the term "gold trafficking" anywhere. Surely there has been a mistake here, please reconsider Dusith's ban!!

I'm the current guild master of Onslaught.
I have been in touch with dusith since the early launch of Nostalrius Begins.

I can confirm that Dusith is always trying to speculate the inflation regarding patch launch, like all smart players are doing/should do.

I can confirm aswell that Dusith will never make any trafic in gold, like buying gold or selling gold for €.

Dusith is a dedicated player for Onslaught, and I know with 100% certitude that he will never do any action against the ToU.

If this player is rich, it's only because he is smart enough to buy / sell items regarding inflation/patch.

I can understand my handling of a big volume of ingame mails and items could have flagged my account and trigger this. Could you please specify the concrete reason and evidence for this ban?

Just have to reply here, i doubt kwazorn have done any kind of gold trafficking, i do make arcanite bars for him, he even steals my herbs in AV from time to time !

Hello, i recently had a long conversation with Dusith regarding the 1000g + wands that he bought we were talking a hole day about this.
He is an intelligent player, always two steps ahead before patch and before inflation happens.
Dedicated player and guild member who helps ppl out.

Based on the information given at this point, I don't understand the ban.

Since the offense is "Gold Trafficking", it can be assumed that Dusith is not suggested to have sold or bought gold, but "legitimizing" illegally acquired gold through either sale or purchase of in-game items (by deduction of the classic definition of trafficking).

The only way this could warrant a ban, according to your own terms of use, would be:

Possession of any item(s) obtained with illegal methods;

OR, if you define things loosely:

Exchanging accounts, gold, items, or any ingame services for another game's features;

Assuming that Dusith pays prices for his items that are - according to the economy on the server - "normal", "reasonable" or "plausible" as an investment for future market developments (difficult to judge, yes, but not impossible by any means, knowing economy developments from retail servers and/or other private servers), the method in which the item was obtained cannot qualify as illegal. Even if he was to pay above market prices for bulks of some items that become more expensive in the future when different patches hit, that is completely legitimate, since it's not like he uses "insider information" as common economy would suggest, but well known developments, since the patches to come are easily accessible for research on sources like wow-wiki or the vanilla database. Edit: Also, assuming he doesn't know or has been told by the seller of a specific illegitimately acquired item, he has no way of knowing if he is buying "dirty" things.

At this point, anything you could base a ban for an exchange of items or gold to another game's economy on - even with chat logs, trade logs, auction house logs and all other data gathered - is pure speculation. That is of course, if none of the gathered data provides solid evidence.

Given that, +1 unban this dude

P.S.: Though I cannot provide evidence for this: I know in fact, that Dusith has been offered money for gold, and declined it.
