Account Banned: Rapid Disconnects Too

I was very relieved to see that the first "Rapid Disconnects" post led to an unbanning. I mentioned in that thread that I was also banned under nearly identical circumstances as the OP, but unfortunately my account remains banned. Hopefully this is just an oversight, but since that thread is now locked I am making this new post. Below is roughly a copy of what I posted in that thread:

I was taking the zeppelin from Grom'gol to UC, and after the warp I reappeared in free fall south of SM, but somehow took no fall damage upon landing (I was granted "slow fall" but it only lasted a couple seconds). On my way to Brill I DCed, and from then on I kept getting DCed shortly after logging on again. After about 5 DCs I was met with the "banned" info upon my next login attempt. I am still banned, despite the site saying I am banned until September 8th 2015 20:22:25 PM. As Tarney said, I'm using a completely clean client, no add ons of any kind. The excerpt from the terms of use quoted by donthurtme make it clear that an active modification of data is required for it to constitute hacking. After comparing donthurtme's experience with my own, I am confident that this is a result of a bug with that zeppelin (actually I had meant to take the other zeppelin, as the G.G. UC one usually leaves me dead; I was relieved to find myself alive, only to be met with the ban).

I understand, but the supposed "hacking" was a result of a zeppelin bug. To quote donthurtme's argument:

The use of any program or file which allows the player to gain access, use or modify data that players can't normally access or modify is considered cheating and will result in a permanent ban.

Non exhaustive cheating examples :
Fly Hack;
Teleporting;
Speed Hack;
Passing through textures or wall (NoClip).


There was no malicious action or modification, it seems a bot may have picked up suspicious movement and banned this account due to the odd disconnections caused by the zeppelin.

Again: donthurtme was able to have his ban reversed, and my situation was nearly identical to his. Please consult that thread. I believe my issue may have understandably been overlooked there. If there is some reason why my situation, in contrast to donthurtme's, does in fact warrant a ban, then I understand but would appreciate being made aware of the distinction.

I think it was just due to the influx of support forum issues that he was just trying to answer issues as hastily as possible. Some days it's fairly quiet here, others its a madhouse.

If you're telling the truth, hopefully they can elevate the case and get the ban revoked. This happened a few months ago with Mind Control and instance portals generating false positives of fly hacking.

Also, I'm not sure if you can see things like this, but my client is unaltered by any code or add-ons, which by the definition isn't hacking. Again, thank you for your time; I greatly appreciate it!

I'm Igitur's primary playing partner and I just want to make sure this doesn't get forgotten, as I can only assume that the recent silithus mining crisis has been occupying the admins' time. If time is indeed an issue, Igitur's situation should be a quick fix since it is basically identical to the thread she linked. Thank you for your hard work, and please revisit this soon!

I was banned previously for the same reason, and fortunate enough to have my ban lifted as it turns out the zeppelin has some pretty serious bugs going on. Hopefully someone will check this out soon before they get sucked back into the Silithus mining situation.
