Here is my problem: My account was stolen the 16th of May. The same day I wrote a ticket in game and a GM told me to send a private message to Viper. But he didn't reply. Of course I can understand why, he got so many messages. So I gave up to get back my account...

But I really want to play on Nost again , so I decided to try one more time to get back my precious account. I wrote another private message to Viper, and this time he responded and told me to post right here.

I give you my account information:
- Account removed
- Character: Nightmares
- Country: France
- Ip adress: 192.168.1.13
- Last time i played: 18h server time, 16 of May

I can give you all the information you want to prove I'm the real owner. For example, I created my account in the UK (London) and then played with it in France on the IP I gave you earlier. My guild (before the account was stolen) was Ten Inches Unbuffed.

You should not write your account name, that's half of the information a hacker needs to access your account.

With such many accounts hacked recently, it is easy to believe that hackers are using the forum names as username and then "only" need to guess the password - with a relatively high success rate. In your case the account name is too obvious (even if you haven't written it here alread) .... I am not saying you asked to be hacked, but it is pretty darn close! Account security is YOUR responsibility and you failed doing so all the way.

192.168.1.13

That is your IP address on your internal network. Your external IP will be quite different (try e.g. http://www.myip.dk if you don't know your external address).

No. They do not help to retrieve stolen accounts. Your account is your responsibility. The best you can hope for is that the person that hacked your account is inactive for at least 10 days. Then you can do a password reset. That's really your only option.

How can I reset my password if he (the hacker) changed my password ?
