Hello guys, my name is Alex Robicheaux and my account Hcslingblade was banned for buying gold. I fully admit to what I did, and I feel iditiotic because I didn't look at the terms of use closely enough to know that it was not allowed. I assumed that since it was considered a "private server" this would not be an issue. I understand the severity of my transgression, and am throwing myself at your mercy. I have spent an inordinate amount of time leveling my warlock, and I truly enjoy playing on the server you guys have created. I am begging for a warning this time, and my account to be unlocked, if possible.

"E - Permanent ban.: Most serious sanction. Permanent bans are rare but definitive. This sanction is applied in case of multiple violations of the rules, or after multiple account interruption, as well as any of the following:
Examples:
Scamming.
COD Scamming;
Hacking;
Using any botting program;
Abuse of major in-game bugs;
Possession of any item(s) obtained with illegal methods;
Any client modification (libraries, executables, MPQ, etc.);
Revealing the identity of a Nostalrius Begins staff member;
Advertising for other private servers or gold selling websites;
Selling/Buying playername;
Exchanging accounts, gold, items, or any ingame services for another game's features;
Selling/Buying accounts, gold, items, or any ingame services with real money;
Publishing a software, methods or articles on cheating which can be applied on the server."

Hi Alex. Unfortunately this server has a zero tolerance policy towards buying gold. That means there is zero chance of being unbanned for it.
Don't feel like you can't reroll a new character though, just be sure to read the Terms of Use and make sure you follow them. It's a great server.
I have 3x level 60s and over 63 days played here. Rolling to a new level 60 is really not that hard.

Seems to me that you don't understand what class E offence means if it's confirmed. The appeal is only for mistakes in handling the case. This is not a mistake, that is very clear to everybody, including you.

What doesn't seem to be clear to you, is that I did not ask for an appeal, I asked for mercy in my punishment for the offense. Perhaps a definition of appeal is in order.
Law
apply to a higher court for a reversal of the decision of a lower court.
"he said he would appeal against the conviction"
My request is not a reversal. I was asking for a lighter sentence.
Thank you though, it's good to know that I'm not the only person whose parents didn't hug him enough as a child.

You got a permanent ban, which cannot be lifted. Reading the rules is not a valid excuse for any kind of lowering the punishment (but maybe the opposite!)

You're right. I should have read the rules. Ok, then, time to make a new accout and level up again....with no cheating this time.

Bans for account/gold trading are permanent. There is no tolerance for it. Any forgiveness or second chance has to be sought on a new account.
