Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hey Guys!

I purchased 100g from a website when I first started leveling on the server. My character name was Rythmal. Back when I played Vanilla in retail I bought gold all the time. Does not make it right, but that is just the truth. I honestly do not mind the ban, I understand now that there is a no toleration policy on it.

Since I did not feel like re-leveling a Paladin I created a new account and started leveling a druid healer instead. Now that I have gotten my druid to level 27 I am starting to miss my level 18 paladin. And really debating whether continuing along the druid path is the right option. Planning on healing me and my buds for level 60 battlegrounds and I am really not sure which healer is the better call.

So, a couple of questions.

1. Can the banned account be unbanned and the gold removed? (expecting a no, but hey why not give it a try)
2. Can the banned account be deleted so that I can have that characters name when I go to create a paladin again?
3. Should I call my ISP to have my IP address refreshed since an account has been banned on my current IP? I would hate to level a character to 60 and than have you guys go through and ban all accounts that have been created on IP's that have had banned accounts.

Thank you guys, love the server. Vanilla wow is my all time favorite game, put off trying the server since I didn't think anyone could really catch the essence of the original game. But so far you guys have proved me wrong.

He was permanently banned for mining nodes in Silithus (along with Stush) back in March-April. Your team ended up deleting his character on his banned account so he could re-level under the same name.

I figured all of that would be the case, though I was thinking the name could probably be cleared up so I could re-use it. Thank you for your swift response!

That was also the case then, since we were told that not only Stush but other members that were banned were not allowed to get their names back. Somehow Thrash did, though. Thought it would be fair to point that there was a precedent to this.

Special treatment for exceptional (large donations) people is nothing new, though I don't agree with the thought "if he got it, I should get it too", I'm hoping this never happens again.
