Two Accounts Banned

Hello GM,

Sorry for trouble you.

Yesterday me and my wife were playing at home and accounts been banned suddenly. I guess it is because I followed her for some minutes and been reported. I understand multibox is not allowed but we are not. We are two persons played two characters on two PCs.

Our ID is Vci and Vcz, could you please investigate. Thank you so much.

Sorry but this sounds ultra fishy to me. There is noway a GM would ban your account without a compaint going to them and then they following and monitoring you. Once they had monitored your gameplay they could make an informed decision.

You state that you put her on follow for some minutes (how many exactly?) With how busy the GM's are I dont see a complaint going in - A GM instantly picking it up and then monitoring you for some time take some minutes.

I am sorry but I just do not accept your story - Now if you had told the truth and appologised there may have been a chance to get your account back as the TOU does state:

"D - Last warning.: A last warning is given before a permanent ban. This sanction is applied in case of multiple violations of the rules, or after multiple account interruptions, as well as any of the following:

•Casinos;
•Multiboxing;
•Abuse of in-game bugs;
•Any attempt to bribe a staff member;
•Organized killing for farming rank and/or honor."

Bearing in mind this is what you were banned for.

Maybe you might want to change your story to the truth before the admins see all of this thread.

Yes I had got warning days before for I use my level 58 hunter Vca help me and wife's low level mages doing quest, a GM /w me asked hunter to log off immediately and I did so, after that I never multibox again. And this time it is a misunderstand.

Another "multiboxing" ban where we have no way of knowing the truth..I understand better why it was not illegal on retail..
I guess you should never use /follow when you play with someone on your IP.

You totally omitted the fact you were using yout 58 hunter to Level your other account (yours and your wifes) a few days before - So there was something fishy going on and you only told part of the story!

They gave you a warning which is correct under thier TOU - They have obviously checked on you and you had one account auto following another.......

I am not trying to make your case hard for you mate I was actually trying to help you by saying you should not have a ban if you were telling the truth but a warning - Now it comes to light you had a warning a few days prior. Sorry matey but they wont unban your account - You had the warning and did not heed it to the fullest.


**On a side note - It amazes me the storys that people bring to this forum and the HUGE amounts of data they choose to omit from them thinking they will side step a ban......The admins have logs.......**

He was given the last warning the other day.

He then had one account following another..........So he should have been banned according to the TOU.

The GM's would have seen that he had one questing - fighting whilst the other was following so it is mutiboxing and he had already had the warning.

Since when is /follow exclusive to multiboxers? following a character doesn't automatically mean multiboxing.. I often /follow people when I go get water or food or when I don't feel like moving ..Hell I even have a macro for it.

He had his account following another account at the same house - Few days before got a warning for having a third account following the said two accounts all from the same address.......

/follow is not an issue - It is when you have one account levelling another AFK one from the same house (Which the OP has admitted) - That is what is called multiboxing
