Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I was waiting outside SFK for server reset and when it was over I logged back in and sent a single message in /say that said yo to the people around me who had been waiting for the reset as well, I was then disconnected and could not log back in. I checked my account on the Nostralius site and I had reportedly been banned for chat spam. Did I do something wrong or is this an error?

Unfortunately, there was a minor issue after the server restart which has since been fixed and all affected accounts has been unbanned.
