hello, I rolled an undead rogue initially on this server. I played by the rules, leveled to 19, mostly working on professions and such. I was able to make 11 gold in total, mostly from selling Deviate Scale Belts. Then the altoholic in me surged and I decided to make an alliance hunter and paladin, having dreams of playing Beast Mastery and Holy spec respectively.
But I wanted to move my gold over to my new alliance toons, so i went to trade chat asking if anybody wanted to swap gold. Well, i eventually found somebody, but not before being harassed by some 60 warlock, who logged in to their alt in westfall, asked me to meet them in north westfall (which i did) and then when i got there said "ha i wasted your time scammer im actually so-and-so who was bothering you earlier." Then he started saying he was going to report me and get me banned. Cool, whatever dude, got my gold to my new toon, so i'm over it. Well about 2 hours later i was banned, if there was a rule about asking to swap gold then okay, i messed up, but that wont happen again. I'll start my new account fresh if i must but it was really nice having that gold to start off.

Banned for attempting and sucessfully trading gold across faction, i gave the guy 11 gold first, then he logged on his alliance and gave me 11 gold. Was that against the rules?
