Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

So my account just got closed because, I assume, someone thought I was a botter or hacker. My character is (was) a lvl 23 priest named Matuso on the pvp server.

I've been playing this server with my brother and in my downtime I'm trying to level up my fishing. Now it doesn't matter where you fish the formula for leveling up doesn't change. I was in desolace and I found a spot where, if I stand in just the right spot, my fishing line will always land in the same place. So I tried to utilize this odd game mechanic and had a real life rig set up where it would shift right click every 29 seconds and I took a nap. I noticed i only get like 5% of fish that way but fishing is pretty rough past lvl 100 as it is so I thought it would be a fancy and tricky way for me to beat the MAN and maybe sneak a couple fish.

If this is a bannable offence I am very very sorry and I won't do it again. I didn't get any warnings or anything like that and I had 4 days of playtime which I really don't want to go through again. And if anything I've only made like a single gold with this... exploit? That sounds way more sinister than I deserve.

I tried moving this thread over to the Account support page or whatever, but this one seemed to come through first. I'll try to close new accidental threads by me as they open up. I was kind of flustered at 5:30 this morning when submitting so please don't be upset.

Sounds like account sharing, which is indeed also bannable.


You can create a new account if you wish to play this game without cheating.

You're supposed to read the Terms of Use before playing here. If you actually read it, you'd know that botting doesn't come with a warning.

I had an oscillating fan set up with a pen sticking out to press 2 buttons. I don't have any idea how to bot things. The only things in the ToS that I see that MAY deserve a permaban is

"Using any botting program;
Abuse of major in-game bugs;"

I'd like to point out I didn't have a PROGRAM and the "bug" I "abused" is far from a major in-game bug like deleting some files for AQ so you can walk straight to the last boss. Even afk campers in bgs get warnings so can my account please be reverted to warning state? Really I won't do it again. I've already taken the fan down. The only reason I want fishing is so I can farm mats the LEGIT way at 60 it's just really hard to level.

And I've been leveling with my brother. 2 different computers. I'm a 23 priest he's a 23 druid. When our schedules don't line up, I worked on my professions. Sorry for that confusion.
