Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Realm: Nostalrius PVP
Characters: Richtor, Sonaj

EDIT 2: I deleted my WDB and WTF folders. Changed my realmlist from login2 to login, and now I just get immediately disconnected right as I enter my password. I think I'm still IP banned from logging in too many times from using a VPN. What is the time duration on these bans? I don't want to increase it by my log-in attempts.

EDIT: I managed to log in to my character list with my new password, but now it displays my character lists as completely empty. Also, it tried to redirect me to the test realms when i first logged in. The url below shows my current character list.

Becase the NA server was down earlier today I tried to connect using a european VPN (Privatetunnel). This was suggested to me by a friend who was also from NA and trying to connect.

In my frustration, I think I may have flagged myself for a ban by trying to log in from several different IPs using the VPN service.

As a note, I tried to log in to the Nostalrius homepage with my original credentials but it failed and would say that my credentials were bad. However, I was able to change my password. I've read on this forum that this is a workaround but it didn't work for me.

Thanks in advance for the help, I'm sure this event has given the GM team a lot of grief! My condolences to them!

Are you trying to log in to the PVP server or the PVE server? You may have accidentally pointed your WoW at the wrong realm. Try changing realm and see if that's it.

it clearly says nostalrius pvp at the top

while the game is closed, try deleting your WDB folder and rename your WTF folder to WTF_OLD

The account associated with character Richtor is currently not suspended or closed. Please note that there's a security measure that temporarily IP ban users who consistently attempts to login with incorrect credentials. The duration varies depending on how many attempts occurred and increases on further failures. Users may recover their lost password by going here.

My characters are not visible after logging into my account. Can you please make sure my character ID is associated with my account ID and realm ID?

Thanks, I know the characters are still around, but I cannot access them on my account. My characters are STILL not visible after logging into my account. Can you please make sure my character ID is associated with my account ID and realm ID?

Using an american VPN, I was able to get on my account but I get stuck at retrieving character list for 5 minutes only for it to load my character screen with no characters. Or I get immediately disconnected after entering my password.

Any ideas on what I could do?
