Account name recovery

Hi there,

I quit playing a few months ago, and now I don't remember what my account name is. I still have access to the email that I used to create the account, but I don't remember what I created my account name to be. My character's name was Gainzbro an orc rogue - was hoping I could get the account name sent to my email. Hope you guys can help!

WTF? sorry, not familiar with that abbreviation unless you mean "what the ****".

there is an actual folder named "WTF" in your wow folder...
there should be a folder named "account" inside that one, and there you can find the list of all accounts you used...

Oh thats right. Good idea, but I'm playing on a different computer now so I don't have that account name in that folder..

There is currently no way to recover an account name, aside from looking in your WoW directory or checking the email you registered the account with.
