Banned based on false theory

Today, 07.11.2015, I was doing AV at around 7 AM. At around 7.30 I had to stop as I was having some house guests to attent to. Meanwhile, I asked my lil brother to hide my lvl 60 hunter in AV somewhere and make sure I don't get kicked out for AFK.

He hid my char and started to browse the internet and he put the pet on prowl and was jumping every few mins to keep the char in BG.

At some point he came to tell me that when he jumped the last time, my char was in a wierd room. When I came back I saw my char on GM Island in a room. It couldn't have jumped more than 1-2 times and be there for 2-3 min before I came to the PC and started chatting with the GM.

After being interrogated by a GM, he came to the conclusion that I was using a bot. No matter how hard I tried to explain that the only bad thing I was doing was pathetically leeching honour from a BG.

If it was a real bot, how come I started chatting with the GM as soon as I was teleported in that room.

May I ask that you recheck the recording? I KNOW I didn't use any hacks and it would be a shame to punish somebody unfair :(.

Am I one of the many victims of bans without real motive?

Any kind of response or assistance will be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and attention!

Daniel

Were likely reported which resulted in a GM quickly inspecting the situation. Yes it is harsh but you will be banned for attempting to undermine the built in afk BG boot system whether you use a bot or not. It is not possible to determine if you are sitting there hitting space bar or a script is doing so. (or a cleverly placed oscillating fan for that matter  )

Bots can notify you when shit like this happens and that "my little brother stuff" is a joke

The unfortunate thing is that I am only trying to get my Crossbow from AV.

I am not even a PVPer because I don't like PVP. I was just trying to get Bloodseeker :((.

I am not gonna make high rank being afk in the BG if that is what one might think...

I dont care how it sounds tbh, joke no joke, it is the truth. And it isn't gonna change.

I thought the best vanilla server in the world would have a better system to discover bots, not by throwing off people who have nothing to do with it...

I am still optimistic that the right thing will be done.

You just admitted to do account sharing, which is also bannable, so one way or another you broke the rules.

That is not account sharing.

Kevin doesn't even play wow any more.

Wow I wonder why all the people playing video games have no sense of compassion. Instead of trying to be helpful they do quite the opposite.

Instead of the benefit of the doubt they use the assumption of guilt.

So much negative energy...

Giving up before an admin even has a chance to respond? I guess you didn't care that much to begin with. See ya.

Honestly, if you dont like PvP and you have to leave your computer for a while (for what ever reason), the sane thing is to simply hope you get back in time before you get kicked due to afk, or just leave the BG.

On a personal note, I dont really enjoy PvP but I would never afk and hide in a BG to the detriment of the other attendees. Your selfishness affects the others who actually enjoy PvPing. What if people did the same in a 5man dungeon, or a 40man raid for that matter? Simply afk in a corner only to come back in time for looting.

"Sorry, I dont enjoy Raiding, but I just want my shiny epix from this and that boss".

Banning for the sake of botting if you werent is obviously wrong, but afk:ing inside a BG out of selfishness, aswell as sharing accounts should atleast earn you some sort of reprecussion.
