I am writing this in regards to a ban placed against my account for alleged forbidden gold transactions. It is with the utmost confidence I can tell you that I have never took part in any gold transactions, I don't even have the means to purchase gold as I don't have a credit or debit card which apart from the fact I have real life friends who play on this server is my biggest motivation to spend my time on this realm.

I wish for my account to be unbanned as the only gold I have used is from real life friends who have brought me to the server with the promise they would support me in my first Vanilla experience.

A character on my account for reference purposes for GM's is teenietiny.

I am confident the correct decision will be made and look forward to the response of a GM.

Based on the current information that you've given I think you will stay banned.

The people (or that one person) who gave you gold, did you ever play in a party with them? Run dungeons with them? Chat with them? Are you in the same guild as them? Were there any in game activities done together that suggests you're friends with every person who has given you gold?

Are you on the same timezone as them? An example: If they find out that you're playing on a different time zone and you're calling the gold traders RL friends you know you will stay banned.

Do you have any screenshots that shows your adventures together with your friends?

Well as a matter of fact, I can say yes to every question posed above.

But accept my thanks for trying to pour a negative on things, you're a true credit to the player base.

You misunderstand me. I am here helping you.

So you have screenshots, show them.
So you have played with these people in parties before, tell when and where.

Your current story does not provide evidence of your innocence. I am here helping you so that you can provide something that's solid and that you should be unbanned without reasonable doubt.

Also, are you sure that your friends did not purchase any of the gold that was given to you? That would also cause a ban to be placed on your account.

I wonder how many of these "I don't underatand why" threads are accounts that got compromised and stripped of gold and valueables by a 3rd party.

Probably half and half. Even if they did, the same actions stand. Its the players responsibility to keep their computer clean, change pw, and not dl anything suspicious. You simply cant differentiate between the two, and people can make that excuse all they want. What if they got hacked because they were downloading a bot or multibox? Lots of variables here
